Laptop Recycling
One of the biggest passions of our team is recycling and reducing waste. Our engineers are dedicated to making sure we waste as little as possible at any given stage in a repair or replace process. If a laptop has reached it’s end of life, it gets stripped down and recycled by its relevant parts.
Aside from the re-usable parts – there are a number of parts in any laptop that are toxic to the environment. These parts cannot simply be thrown away and are covered by the WEEE Directive – a strict piece of legislation specifically covering disposal of toxic goods. This means that we uphold our policy of “O% Landfill”
What is the WEEE Directive?
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE Directive) came into force in January 2007. The WEEE Directive aims to both reduce the amount of electrical and electronic equipment being produced and to encourage everyone to reduce, reuse and recycle the electrical goods that are already in the marketplace.
